Who will move from the Bundesliga to the Premier League this summer?

Rumours abound that the transfer window could be extended this summer and with the Bundesliga putting their stars on display last weekend, we take a look at three possible switches between the German top-flight and the Premier League  and what chances the bookmakers are currently giving them.

The RB Leipzig striker has made a name for himself in the Bundesliga this season and as such it is no surprise to see him being linked with a move to several Premier League clubs. Current league leaders Liverpool are odds-on to lure the player to Anfield during the summer months with the Merseyside outfit heading the betting market at odds of 4/9, while Manchester United sit joint second at odds of 6/1 alongside hopefuls Barcelona and Inter Milan.

 

Jadon Sancho

The English star has been having a great old time of things in the Bundesliga this term and this has earned him plenty of attention from these shores over the past few months. Most pundits continue to link him with a move to Old Trafford during the summer and that has clearly been good enough for punters who have backed such a move in their droves, the bookies reacting by making a move to Manchester United odds-on at 8/11.

Indeed a reported 72% of all bets in this particular market have been aimed at Sancho wearing a Red Devils shirt next term, leaving them way ahead of perceived closest challengers Chelsea at 7/2 and Liverpool at 8/1.

 

Kai Havertz

Bayern Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz has been attracting plenty of attention from Europe’s top clubs this season and he will be high on many clubs’ shopping lists this summer, therefore Premier League sides may need to dig deep into their wallets should they wish to add him to their books. As things stand, Bayern Munich are odds-on at 4/6 to lure the player from their Bundesliga rivals, however Liverpool are being touted as the second most likely destination for the German, Jurgen Klopp’s men priced at 6/1 leaving them way ahead of third-placed Manchester City at 16/1.
